Nutrition is a very important part of exercising because eating healthy provides you with more energy then someone who eats unhealthy. This Nutritional difference makes the difference Nutritionbetween running 6 miles versus running 5 miles or doing 120 push-ups vs 100 push-ups. Also eating healthy allows you to get better results from your workout and get them faster because your body is not trying to burn off the junk food that you ate a few hours prior.

Eating healthy is simple, but hard to do because you got to be more than dedicated. Eating 1-2 hours before you workout and eat again 1-2 hours after you workout.

Nutrition for a person who works out involves three core main food groups. You have your lean proteins and dairy, you have your fruits and vegetables, and you have your Carbohydrates. Here are some of the good nutritional foods that can help you gain muscle, keep that muscle, and stay healthy.

Fruits and Vegetables:

Fruits and vegetables in moderation is great for the body but consuming to much of it can cause fat to occur because fruits and some vegetables have sugar in them which can cause that fat to come in, if you eat to much of it.

  • Brown Rice
  • Energy bars
  • Yogurt




These food groups will provide the energy to get through your work and will help you change your body faster than if you ate unhealthy food.
